This is a piece of SATIRE. As in, the actual message is the opposite. Read "A Modest Proposal" for a brilliant piece of written SATIRE. Or just look in a dictionary.
Their disclaimer starts at 3:06. I felt they didn't actually need one, given how over the top they made it. Some people, apparently, are unable to read.
Let this be a lesson: Next time add sparkles with the words "this is satire" before and every 3 seconds during the video, and add a google link for the definition of "satire".

...I got toned to a shots fired call last night. No patient or victim, PD couldn't find the one that had reportedly been shot and then took off running. So we got toned to "help search the apt complex for a victim." That's not even a firefighter's job! I had no idea if when he was found he be armed. But we help people that's our job, that's what we do. Period.

Ok I am smart enough to realize this was a parody and for a couple high school, at least they're intelligent.
BUT had they been serious, I would found their houses, set them on fire and when they called 911 I would have showed up with four yards of hoses and say "sorry boys I'm a little short funded today."
And y'all wanna talk about the calls we roll on...

If the fire departments were privately run, the market would take effect, and there would be much more fire prevention (sprinklers, fire resistant, etc) to make up for fewer fire departments. Just like roads. If we had to pay for roads, we would have more incentives to build cities that didn't need as many roads, and we'd have less of a need for cars, less of a need for oil, and less of a need to secure oil supplies in Arab countries. The gov't distorts everything and makes it all topsy turvy.

@57PROBIE You volunteers are f*cking crazy man, I'm fortunate enough to be a full-timer in a city and I love my job so much that I would do it for free if need be, but I've met a few volunteer guys and they get calls, in the mid-night, at family diners, even when they're f*cking their girl-friends! Let alone you can't go get drunk because you might get called out! Nothing pisses me off more than when some retards calls volunteers "not real firefighters". I appreciate your service, sir.
