Piffaro Renaissance Music Band premiers Epiphany Vespers by Kile Smith, the Crossing Choir conducted by Donald Nally. Moving music performed on ancient instruments accompanied by a modern choir creates a singular performance of excellence, eloquence, peace and love.

  • What is the instrument that looks somewhat like a lute?

  • Hahaha.. This is probably the first time I've seen someone double on trombone and harp.

  • what instruments were use in this piece and who composed it

  • what instruments were use in this peice

  • @bcindahouse1 Interestingly, the instrumental ensemble is a famous group specializing in music and instruments of the Renaissance, but the music is contemporary.

  • What a luck to see the Piffaro group. I borrowed several CD's of them.

  • you guys are obviously great musicians with tremendous control of your instruments and voices. renaissance music is not my favorite, but you still did well.

  • Well done! I bought a CD recorded by you all.

    My favorite is "La Parma".

    Keep going ahead!

    All the best, folks!

  • Simply tremendous. "Wie schoen leuchtet der Morgenstern" is the perfect theme for this.

  • I sang a wedding there several years ago.
