This are just a few Gameplay Moments from the singleplayer. Im still playing the singleplayer. But I can smell the End :D
Im excited about the multiplayer, to play it, after I finished the singleplayer campaign.

Spoilers in this Video:
- Different aliens visible
- One of the later levels shortly visible.

Settings:
Playing Crysis 2 with Direct X 11 Effects in Ultra Settings with High-Res Textures.
1680 x 1050 resolution
Radeon HD 6850 @ 970MHz Core
Intel Core i5 2400 Sandy Bridge @ 3.1 GHz Turbo (4 Cores)
4 GB DDR3 RAM
64 Bit Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 -System Builder-

Average Framerates:
Pending from 20 to 40 fps, if my system is oc'ed like in the Description.

The build in Anti-Aliasing-Mode in Crysis 2 causes the low fps! AA cant be toggled off! Not even in the GPU-Driver Menu :(

  • If I have the same machine with the RAM 8GB DDR3 ,Full HD monitor, Core i5 2500.. Can I play it with 30fps in 1920 X 1080 ??

  • @feeniks97

not really. the game needs pure GPU Power. My i5 2400 is used only to 50%. Even recording with fraps only steals 1 - 3 frames from the game. I think the sys would have probs with 1920 x 1080. Get a better GPU, than a better CPU for this game. A HD 6950 or a NV GTX 560 will do a great job.

  • @Zeeeeeek So can I play it in a lower resolution (1600 X 900 ) :/ with 30fps?

  • @feeniks97

yes. but there will be frame drops in some levels down to 15 fps and lower.

average fps should be something with 30 fps

  • 970MHz Core ?¿?¿

Did you overclock only the core, or the memory as well?¿

  • hey dude you can turn off the built in aa in crysis 2 just bring the command thing with ~ and the type in "r_postmsaa 0" without the commas! hope this helps! good vid btw

  • Just wondering, how does your system handle this if your GPU runs at stock clocks? Is it playable at 1600 by 900 all settings ultra?

  • destroying all things!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
