Swans looking for food

On Christmas Day this year I went to a park with a lake. On the lake were several swans swimming nearby. Here I filmed two. I was trying to get close to them and get good pictures of them.
It was a difficult thing to do without food, bread. They swam off, unimpressed.

Swans are beautiful creatures! But I have memories of my Daddy scooping me up and away from a swan that had a very nasty disposition. I was only a wee thing I had thrown my last piece of bread. So as an adult I keep my distance.

@weeknightingale Although they look wonderful swans can be real brutes can't they.

Thank you for your good wishes. I am hoping to see a bit more of the world in the next twelve months and hopefully pull together some more videos which I will attempt to 'edit' a little more.

Swans can get very aggressive sometimes. I've seen them attack before.

@KnightOwl2006 I was being pretty wary. I zoomed towards them rather than got too close.

@JackBarnett21 What river was that? Reminds me of the swans I saw on the Thames in Sunbury.
