http://www.framedrums.net Hatem Ammous, Percussion Professor at the University of Sfax in Tunesia, teaches Tunesian Rhythms and playing techniques on Bendir, Riq (Tar) and Darbouka.
hatem is a excellent teacher. Thanks so much... it's increadible,...usually one has to go to Tunisia and take lessons from Hatem. And David makes it possible to learn it right away from your living room free of charge!! By the way Hatem is the bomb!! I mean look how precise he plays and how man variations he is able to play on those 2 rhythmus...wow
This is an awesome illustration of a rare method for playing the Riq. I've never seen anyone play like this before. Way to go David. Thank's for making this available!
