@johnram27 i was in the long beach area which was one of the hardest areas hit (i think, cuz i looked at an animation of the shaking) and i could have sworn that it lasted a lot longer here! i sat for a sec, got up to try and hold the tv (its a flat screen i didnt want to loose it) ran, fell, ran again, got my dad, started walking towards the back room, picked up a bunch of stuff tht was in our path, got to the back room and stood there, THEN it ended...so ya it lasted rlly long here!

i live 0.2 miles from the epicenter and this like pot thingy fell of the shelf and smashed on my arm. it hurt pretty bad. but i was laughing
