I understand them all except number 12 which seems more like a Gm6 #5.

I like sound of Jazz chords but they can get pretty hard sometimes and stretching of hands.

Your tone sounds like crap. You should work on getting a good tone before you even attempt to play jazz guitar.

For the third chord you say "G major minor seventh" which sounds like a major chord with a minor seventh, but I believe you are playing a G minor chord with a major seventh or "G minor major seventh"
