A Wicked Camper roadtrip in New Zealand to the Huntaway Festival!
he Hunterville Huntaway Festival is held annually and next year it will be held on Saturday 31 October. The feature race, the Shepherd's Shemozzle, now entering its 12th year is run mid afternoon. This gruelling 3 kilometre event is centred around the Shepherds and their Huntaway dogs competing over an endurance and obstacle course. Previous years ahve seen competitors swallowing raw eggs, munching on dry weetbix washed down with a can of warm beer, huhu bugs with cold cooking oil or a sheep's eye and cream!

Great vid girls, I was born in Hunterville and my Aunt sculptured the Huntaway statue. Was and is still a great Kiwi town! saw some familiar faces, what a treat as I now live on a High Country station in the South Island, miss my roots!

aww flagpolefarm, Hunterville is such a splendid little town!!! We had a fabulous time there... beers for breakfast the day after the Shemozzle wasn't such a great idea though :)
