@doggyme1 I think I may have misinterpreted your previous question. I thought you were referring to the compression fittings video. The ipad YouTube app is clunky! The adjustable cutters are more flexible, but the pipe slice tools are easier to use. I have a 15mm and a 22mm pipe slice, since those are the only copper pipe sizes used in my home.

@ultimatehandyman Cheers, that's what I was thinking. But thought I'd ask someone more experienced first. :)
@doggyme1 I've used the push-on metal fittings as well as compression fittings. Of the two, I find compression fittings more reliable. But then I am more experienced with the latter type, so that may explain it.

Don't know if they are any better, but both types are often used.

Are the metal ones any better than than the one your using as i was looking to buy one for diy use. Who is that women that is sealing the shower.
I've watched half a dozen videos and learned more about plumbing in half an hour than ever. Great stuff. Thanks very much. Keep it up!

Have you ever cut a piece of a corrugated flexible copper pipe? If so, what method would you recommend? I bought one for a really awkward position. It was dented at the end, so I wanted to trim it. Unfortunately, the pipe slice crushed it, making it worse due to the thinness of it! Any safe recommendations to salvage the pipe?

The only thing I could suggest is a hack saw.
