For my Fundamentals of Engineering class, the class was required to use only newspaper and one roll of packing tape to construct a bridge. It had to be at least five feet long and could not touch the ground. It didn't matter how many textbooks it held, but rather the ratio (weight of the textbooks on bridge divided by the bridge's weight).
Two of the five members (red and yellow shirts) of my group put the textbooks on the bridge.
