  • sounds like a chuckii booker production, very nice

  • The D-70 was actually an initial VJ series keyboard, it sounded just like the JV-80, nothing to do with the D-50.

  • i lost my one of my 'D' keys on my keyboard for about a year now, can anybody help?@synthdrum

  • How many channels does it have?

  • The D70 was an actual nightmare to use, it was an actual JV series keyboard rather than D series. I liked the sound but the navigation was fatal. I ended up buying a JV 90 wich is basically and enhanced JV 80. But the turn off was that the 8 sliders the JV 80/90 has are not programable and do not transmit CC!!! But the 4 huge sliders the D 70 had were programable even it was a keyboard made 3 years before the JV. Roland really fucked up some very nice equipment in the aspects.

  • Funny how synths and keybs of that time often features funk and jazz for demo, i had an JV880 once, had some nice demos actually and ofcourse the jazz and funk one too. :-D

  • This is a very very good synth!

    I love D-70 Roland!!!!

  • Thanks!
