This song came out when I was in the 7th grade. I loved it! One day, I carried the 45 and a portable record player to school. In class, the teacher was called out of the room over the intercom, and before she could get back, I was already on top of a classroom desk, dancing and singing to The Babysitter. When the teacher - Miss Kelly, walked into the room and caught me, she had a look of horror like "WHAT is this black boy doing and WHAT have I gotten myself into at this school".

Y'all don't understand. This is the sheeit! The music is driving. The lyrics are outstanding. And Betty sang her ass off as usual. This shudda been a major hit like clean up woman. The song has stood the test of time n could be a remix hit today. You can't hear that base line n not wanna move. You can't hear them lyrics n not wanna laff. Vintage party music.

@kpitt1204 when my bestfriend said, she had lost her man to her babysitter, I thought she was lying. I said, no 16 yr old school girl would ever take a man of mine. (Isn't that how it is nowadays? Nothing has changed much!})LOL! Staying home with my baby all the time, it kept me kinda broken hearted, so I went and hired myself a babysitter and that's when my trouble all started.
