  • My Favorite team of all time. R.I.P Al Davis and Lyle Alzado.

  • the slow, sad raider theme makes my throat thick. i'm not a raider fan but I mourned Al Davis when he died. where i work I work with a bunch of misfits but we all work hard and we do our jobs really well and that reminds me of the 83 raiders. :)

  • I once met Howie Long, and HE stole my lunch money!!!

  • Redskins fan here and I gotta give it to the Raiders, they were the best team in the NFL in '83.

  • The Raiders played in front of so many empty seats because nearly 40% of the seats were horrible at the LA Coliseum.

  • Davis was a pioneer. But he also was delusional, selfish, prick

  • Back then you had a whole bunch of characters you wouldn't see today. A intellectual (Christensen), the pretty boy (Allen), the backup (Plunkett), the party boy veteran (Hendricks). You had it all in the spectrum with crazy personalities and characters and the Raiders were able to find ways to win and pull it together.

  • @GialloHorror

    AGAIN!!!

  • @sosdkny Hell Yeah bro. Feels good right now. We're on top of the world!

  • @GialloHorror

ARE WE IN HEAVEN OR WHAT???

  • Facenda prefaced "On came Marcus Allen, running with the night" with "As Washington's hopes faded into the dying daylight"

John Facenda, the voice of NFL films!

  • I'm not a Raider fan, by any means, but I will always respect Al Davis for what he meant to the game of football. He was a pioneer. A rebel, and a very smart football mind.

    R.I.P Al Davis
