they HAVE made progress. there are several things in the bible that have been proven to be false, or to not have happened at all, or were taken from older mythology. you've just not been paying attention.

850 million non-believers in the world. in their minds, christianity is just as dead and absurd as greek mythology. 850 million people think the bible is fiction.

just saying, it would greatly help your cause, if when asked for "facts"... you don't quote the bible.

Like what?  Can you actually name anything? Just because 850 million people do not believe in Christianity does not mean that they are athiests. You act like they are apart of your group when in reality hardly anyone stands for what you stand for.

it's a big bible. it would take too long to list all the absurdity and bullshit in that book. google "skeptic's annotated bible" if you want to see for yourself.

let me also correct you.. again.. it's 850 million people who not only don't believe in christianity, but they don't believe in any religion. that number gets bigger every year, so you can see.. it's only a matter of time.

What about all the parts of the bible borrowed from Greek and other Mythology? What about all the psalms stolen from the Egyptians?

Oh right, sorry, I thought you were replying to something else I'd posted on another video. There's documented evidence that a great deal of the bible was taken from other religions. Some of the Psalms are a direct copy from ancient Egyptian carvings.

On top of that the new testament was created by the catholic church from a great many different texts. Who is to say the books they decided to keep and the ones they threw out were the right ones?
