awesome tool, but midi in sync from an mpc or other is not stable yet - if you want to slave it when playing live. a few otehr minor bugs, coz its the early version. but this is awesome, and if they ectend the software version, it can be an intuitive mpc - ableton live combo in a box.

For me personally...It doesn't have any negative aspects. Sure I wish the software had more advanced sample editing features like truncate and cropping but that's very minor and I'm sure Native Instruments can add that in a future update. But overall, I'm very pleased with my Maschine. The software is very powerful but easy to use and I really like the feel of the pads. Trust me...you won't be disappointed when you buy one.
