For the first TEDxTucson community project we are focusing on local job creation, and we've created The Local Jobs Movement. The intention is to leverage the attraction of TEDx to help Tucson become more sustainable and resilient. Our first Salon on April 19 is about local food, and so we went out to our friend's farm in Reddington Pass and met Michael Carmody. Michael has just returned from Guatemala and was inspired by the farm and the work we're doing creating local jobs. This video documents his intention to become an organic farmer and ours, to gro local jobs and local food.
