Getting into Film School: Grades or FIlms?

One of the most frequent questions I receive is: which is more important when applying to film school? Grades or films? I attempt to answer this question in this video.

Does USC accept films now? They didn't when we went there. It was solely about grades and diversity (what part of the country you're from, ethnicity, etc.)

This video was really helpful; however, I do have a question? Does USC accept transfer students for their Film production BA program? Im starting Chaffey College in Rancho Cucamonga, California and want to transfer to USC. any tips other than tips provided in the video? thanks for all your help.

@FrederickLevy hey man great advice! i was curious if you would take a look at the piece im going to being using for Tisch, Emerson, BU, and a few other schools. My GPA is 3.3 which is below NYU's standard, but i would love it if you could give me a opinion on my possible chances..

i would disagree, with subjects like art and film etc, have a good lot of work to show is MUCH better than grades

Come on, USC is not the only film school around. There's lots to choose from.
