Hospitals are usually drab and depressing places. But they don't have to be. In the UK, "Nightingale project", a charity project founded in 1998 at South Kensington and Chelsea Mental Health Centre, successfully brought arts and music to various hospitals in London. They brighten up the environment of the hospitals, lift up patients' spirits and make hospitals a more welcoming place to the general public. Recently the Nightingale project opened an exhibition of paintings by Will Alsop, one of Britain's most prominent architects. Phoenix TV presenter Jenny Zhong spoke to Will Alsop and organisers of the exhibition.
