How to get the Ratslayer (Unique Varmint Rifle) in Fallout: New Vegas

This is a weapon tutorial on how to get the unique varmint rifle Ratslayer. It is located in Broc Flower Cave which is basically south of Novac. The Ratslayer is all black and appears to be made of a polymer body instead of wood, and if playing a non-modded Fallout: New Vegas it will be found with an extended magazine, suppressor and night scope already installed. The rifle boasts increased damage, much higher critical hit multiplier, critical hit damage, increased weapon HP, and is lighter. This weapon is great for lower level characters because it is suppressed so it lets you stay hidden when shooting so you can keep pulling of sneak attack crits and because it uses 5.56mm ammo you'll never be in short supply.
