  • Guys

when I went to Kerala last month, I saw 2 movies-harihar nagar 2 and Jacky alias sagar.

As someone who admires both the 2 Big M's - Mammooty for his depth and intensity of acting and Mohanlal for the sheer versatality and ease of acting, I was v disappointed. It was rubbish.

Both M's need to look seriously at the crap they have come out with recently- Mayabazar, Annan Thampy, College Kumaran etc etc.

Time for them to take on diff roles like the Big B?!! What do you say?

  • Mammootty still looks 35! MOhanlal also, acts young!! So I dont think it is time for them to take roles like what bachchan saab had done.

Rajinikanth is dancing with gals who luk like his grand daughters.. Also, SANJAY DUTT!! In KANNADA, VISHNUVARDHAN!!!

The difference is that they all look old and act old!!

Mammootty is strikingly handsome even at 56. Mohanlal acts brilliantly!! So Y in a hurry??

  • the director of this film: Jomon...

is he the guy who also made

    Bhargavacharitham Moonnam Khandam ?

  • Yes... He was supposed to be the Amal Neerad of that time...Was so modern and stylish. But he couldnt get the deserved launch, as Amal got today.

His direction in this movie was later copied by Tamil and Hindi filmmakers.

    Bhargavacharitham was ofcourse a disaster.

  • I believe this movie was a huge hit in Andhra and TN as well.Mammooty is/was easily one of the most handsome actors in India and hence this type of glamarous roles suits him perfectly. Agree that no other mallu actor could have pulled it off- his gait, body language and booming voice all adds to the characters that he depicts.

  • I read somewhere that thisb is the BIGGEST NON-TELUGU HIT in ANDHRA.

  • This is a rocking movie. There is no match to Mammootty. He is the legend of acting. Could any of you believe that it was a huge huge hit in Andhra Pradesh as well? I still remember that I watched this movie during my eighth standard along with my parents. While more than half is attributed to Mammotty's acting performance, the rest is the magic of Ilayaraja's background music. BTW, ilayaraja's music is unique. It neither looked like pop nor rock nor disco. It is Maestro's music!!!

  • hihihiii... i lyked his socks!!! XD

  • Annan thambi was the biggest hit of Malayalam and completed 50 days in more than 35 centers

  • deadly background music by Ilayaraaja...!!!

  • man, chill. where did i compare? i just said what i like better. i know Ilayaraja is a maestro.

n if this was such a superb theme, how many people recognize it? i dont think it is more popular than CBI or jacky. anyways that was not my point.

  • CBI and JACKY themes are SUPERBB...Both are composed by Shyam..veteran Music Director..

The BGM in this movie is by Ilayaraaja..Its its NOT actually disco...its kinda POP which Michael Jackson used to do in the 70's(In his early days)... More falling in the lines of "Of the Wall"... also, it vaguely falls in the genre of MJ's THRILLER song....(1983) ..

DO not COMPARE Shyam's score with Maestro Ilayaraja's work..

Shyam is EXCELLENT.. No doubt!! But cant compare with the MAESTRO!!

  • Harihar nagar 2 was OK!
