Even though Mac lost, JTP raised the awareness of bad economic policies like raising taxes on the economic risktakers and innovators of society. Many people now have at least heard the word socialism discussed even though they do not understand the entire negative long term economic and social side effects it produces

Amazing. This is why politicians never like to go anywhere NEAR the public. "Spread the wealth". Do the world a favour - please elect McCain. The thought of Barack Obama making speech's for the next 4 years (at least) makes me cringe.
