The Lovell Health house in Los Angeles was designed by architect Richard Neutra (1892-1970). In L.A. Confidential (1997) dir. Curtis Hanson, it is the residence of a high class pimp, played by David Strathairn.
Edited to tunes the "unfinished" symphony no. 8 by Franz Schubert.

  • It´s amazing to see great buildings as sets in movies, but is sad that modern architecture is always associated with the "bad guy´s house", just as some Case Study Houses had appeares in other L.A movies as the "drug lords" houses. I guess i wouldn´t mind about being the bad guy in this case :)
