@Fanimeanniedubs yeah i know u didnt mean it. most people use it without knowing it but IT IS a derogatory remark against the japanese. go ahead and wiki it. it was an abbreviation like u have mentioned and it started in England (i think) but during the WW, it started to be used as an insult by the Americans and it obviously stayed that way since then so its not just where i live.
@Fanimeanniedubs JFYI...if u respect her or the japanese to begin with then i would be appreciated if you could refrain from using "Jap" since it's a racial slur against japanese like myself and Chiaki Ishikawa. :)

I really didn't mean to be racist, I was just being lazy so I didn't write the whole word.
Actually though, I've never heard of that being used as an insult. Maybe its just where you live? I thought it was an abbreviation. Like "Eng."
