In this example, I show you how to determine the first and last value in a column. This is the first part of two. Stay tuned for the second part.

  • I'm using 2010 and cant get this to work, where there any changes to the code needed. Also does this work for word lists like names or locations?

What I'm hoping to use it for (in case it changes what code I need) is to pick the top value from a sorted column that has cut out several things. So for example Say I had a list of places I was going to travel by country and I picked a different country from the sorter, I'd want the first location to pop up.

  • Great explanation! This has helped me a lot, thank you!
