@mijo2100 I do not have the answer as to why they made such a poor port, but I want to add that the Donkey Kong Country games had an added chip that made the games practically 32 bit, so they went way ahead on time without using peripherals that are sold separately.

GBA has lower resolution so they shrunk and distorted the 3 sprites. I hope SNES and not GBA comes to 3DS Virtual Console.
