Financial aid to Africa is such a waste because it always fall into the hands of corrupt leaders. Government should stop foreign aid because we can't even help ourselves now. Keep charitable aid possible in private organizations only.

@ninesandaks To be honest we shouldn't really think about Africa (who is messed up because of the British Empire and the years of racial seperation creating a strong class system)

when their are countries like Guatemala or Iraq that are fucked up solely because of the American government.

there is no quick fix to this problem. If one can;t end the violence created by the warlords, Africa will have no peace. Aid is good to keep people alive, but the effort will be in vain.

In America all we have is money and financial aid is the only thing most Americans can do besides get on a plane and build hospitals or schools over there.

IMO charity organizations that get donations to spread their religion are the real waste
