Ua Mau, hula `auana at St. Mary's

Prayer, music and hula graced the Sunday morning Mass at Assumption Chapel in St. Mary's University on Nov. 14.

To begin International Education Week, students from the Chapel Choir danced a hula `auana to accompany Ua Mau, the meditation hymn following communion.

Translation to Ua Mau:
Everlasting are blessings from (our) Heavenly Parent
We gather here now, through God's graciousness.
We all congregate, parents and children
Let us unite our thoughts to be of one heart.

Hosana to God in the highest heavens
For presenting us with salvation
