The first time I discovered English language, Sean Connery and Ursula Andress too, it was, curiously when I heard this beautiful jamaican song as sung by the two actors.I love this sequence and the voices of both characters, the accent of Ursula Andress and then the original Diana Coupland's version too.
The contrast with the brillant british scottish actor the mediterranean italian beauty of Ursula Andress and the tropical magnificient landscape.
It is not standard English, I think, but I can't explain my pleasure listening "Underneath the mango tree" it is so naive , so simple , so cool, like an evocation of a lost paradise.
1962, I was just on year old.
what the hell is up with that stupid remix!!!!, why must people try to ruin good songs!
