  • Anyone else love Bryn's face between 4:45 and 4:48 ?

  • bryn terfel singing sweeney todd????!! Oh my it doesn't get any better than this. I wish the so-called 'singers' on Bway would all roll over and we could have REAL singers like this perform. Awesome

  • But the acting is great!

  • The orchestra is fabulous, but the singing man is too opera-like and the woman is to... Sharp.

  • Quite like Bryn but he doesn't really accent his words. He's got a bit of the 'soprano disease'

  • Maria Friedman definitely channels Angela Lansbury in all the right ways. Well done.

  • @oaiturriaga I have to agree, but you have to keep in mind, this is a concert, not a performance of the musical itself. This focuses more on the musical aspect. I have no doubt that if he were performing it in the context of the musical, he'd sacrifice a bit of his vocal perfection for acting perfection and it would be made much more interesting.

  • @00DanielaCarvalho00 noooooooooo! lol

  • This doesn't sound as great as the original, mrs Lovett doesn't song that great, ad they are both over doing the vibrato ...

  • @MrDsmalls mmm no doubt he is a good singer, but to perform this kind of music also requires to be a convincing actor. And watching this after seeing George Hearn's awesome and passionate version... I have to say that mr Terfel version is very dull. Very.

  • great stage presence:D

  • I think if Bryn were pointing at me between 1:35 and 1:37 I would have shit my pants. =O
