From my humble experience discussing Islam with lesbian Muslims, they really have a big problem accepting religion esp. Islam because probably its the only religion that condemns homosexuality explicitly. I agree with one comment that said that its her personal journey and the world could care less. However, I have to admire her coz she is actually embracing the religion and not denouncing it like the rest of the homosexuals who are Muslims. the combo doesn't mix but each to their own.

Because unlike you, she actually *cares* about fighting for Islam, in the true sense of the phrase. Modernising it and ridding it of its erroneous habits like the Niqab which isn't even mentioned in the Qu'ran, she fights these cultural norms in an attempt to help combat the awful prejudice that exists in Islam ALL over the World, ESPECIALLY in my Country, Britain - where we have the BNP and the EDL, or in the U.S for example. Are you a Muslim? If so, you should support Manji.

Neither are you. I have the right to say that to you, because I'm an atheist.. however if you're a Muslim, you *should* know Muhammed specifically stated it's sinful to deny another Muslims faith, i.e to say they're not a Muslim - because this would lead to Tribalism and he was right.

Are you purposely ignoring what Muhammed said, or are you just not very well educated on the Qu'ran?
