Mishka is an adorable 9 month old Siberian x Bengal female tiger cub. She came from Michigan from owners that were hit heavily by the economy. Originally sent to us as a boy named Gus we quickly realized after a careful exam she was not a Gus. She is a very playful and energetic girl that has had a tough time understanding what us humans can handle. So we named her Mishka which means little bear.

Even as cute as she is she is a handful that the a untrained person could not handle. She was very fortunate she was able to have responsible owners that looked into a proper facility that would give her a good home. We look forward to giving Mishka a long and enriching life here at Forever Wild. She is also one of the lucky cats that has not had her paws declawed so we see a very bright future for her.

  • Isnt that cage way too small for a tiger, and there really is no shelter from the rain and heat!!

  • @rainforestcat

This is only a play yard built by Extreme Home Make over. The cats are only put into this area to play in the water. There is however a place in this enclosure were the tigers can get out of the sun. They have a bigger enclosure that they live in with shade covers and a den box . We are hoping to create a larger play area in the future. Forever Wild Exotic Animal Sanctuary

  • Wow, this is a great place! :) I hope to visit here this summer! Looks like you guys have done something really amazing for these beautiful animals - giving them a safe, loving place to spend their days, rather than crammed in some tiny zoo or worse, in a circus, stuck performing tricks all year.

Thank you for what you do! Your organization is truly a voice for the voiceless!

  • That pool is really nice and she obviously knows how to use it to her advantage. Simply beautiful!

  • She is beautiful! And really loving the water, isn't she? :-)

I hope to come out that way and visit the sanctuary one day. Best to you! You're doing wonderful work!

  • aww how cute. Haha
