LandSkills East
A rural skills training programme for the East of England
LandSkills East offer a range of training courses for those involved in farming and land-based industries in the East of England. Training is provided by more than 30 professional organisations and businesses. The training is from vocational to higher level and is responsive to the needs of the industry. Funding is available to support training.
Key aims of the training: * To improve business efficiency, profitability, competitiveness and innovation * To develop new enterprises * To adapt to pressures on natural resources caused by climate change and demographic change * To develop skills within the agri-food sector; and * To encourage new entrants into the industry
LandSkills East is supported under the Rural Development Programme for England by EEDA, Defra and the EU and is managed by The Rural Enterprise Hub at Easton College, in association with Norfolk County Council and Lantra.
