The first Medal of Honor game had a few missions that were pretty clearly based on Saving Private Ryan, including the D-Day mission. Yes, I know it's a real event, but the game followed the choreography of the movie in a lot of areas. Same with MoH: Spearhead and how it copied parts from Band of Brothers.
