1. Fish do not sleep. 2. Both cannot be housed together.

what temp u keep these guys at? i have goldfish including a black moor but want to try out a parrot.

@KaosChrist I don't use a heater or anything cuz my house temp fluctuates a lot, but the tank temp is usually about 73degrees. I've had both tropical fish and goldfish for years at this temp and haven't had any problems.

@aquanerd007 ok thanks my house is a bit warmer like 79, tho i have my heater set to 75. btw your fish are adorable. how come you only have 2 in such a large tank tho?

@KaosChrist lol thx. Idk why i haven't added any other fish to this tank. I guess i like these 2 guys being the odd couple haha.

Haha nice video. Good luck with ur fish. I like both of them, used to have a Black moor, very sociable fish. and currently have a parrot cichlid.
I would suggest a very strong filtration tho since both fish produce lots of waste. Maybe 10X water turnover. Theyre both cute fish.

@f2warbound thanks, and yes, the black moor is very sociable! i think he helped get rid of the cichlid's shyness. so thanks to him, they're both really sociable now! lol, and ur right about the increased waste. i'm switching to a bare bottom tank instead of the sand. so that should make maintenance much easier! :P
