Famicom Disk System BIOS Startup Screen

I reset the Famicom while the drive was empty (well, I emulated it that way, anyhow) and got this. Mario and Luigi fight for a few minutes over the color and brightness of the lighting before I finally put a disk in.

gootube2000: Is it the "disksys.rom" file? It has to be that particular image, and it must be a valid one.

The tune in the beginning is the tune used for the GameCube Menu.

hmmmm.... this was the first thing Nintendo made that used disks, and the Gamecube was Nintendo's first console to use disks by default. so is that why they put that in the startup? hmmmmmmm......
