This is a tutorial on how you can tweak the settings on iMovie'09 so that your movie will be publish on YouTube in high quality or high definition.

Important: if your original footage was made with a non-HD camera, and you upload it in HD, you may notice that your movie lags a bit and lacks resolution. However, you can still upload it in HD, and see if you're happy with the final result. If you're not, try to upload it in HQ instead.

Hope this helps!

  • you should go slower and bring the video closer this is a joke that its sponsored by Apple. man I am so mad. i am trying to convert my videos and its not so easy as he makes it sound.

  • @Drlily2000 Hey! Don't blame me for your frustrations ok?! It's not my fault if you're having issues converting your videos. So please try to be fair here. If you don't like my video that's ok, but there is nothing wrong with my presentation. It works for me and judging by the comments it works for others too. If it doesn't work for you there's a reason for sure, but surely the reason is neither me nor my video.

  • @AppleColorsBroadcast No I am giving constructive feedback, if you don't like, it don't post.

  • @Drlily2000 It doesn't seem very constructive to me the way you made your comment. Besides it would only make sense if you had some kind of hearing impairment or visual impairment, which I assume is not the case or you would've said it. Nevertheless the speech's speed is normal and if you want more detail choose 720p/full screen. And I'm not making it sound easy, I'm just showing how to use the app. If you find it complicated you should first search for help on the interface basics.

  • @AppleColorsBroadcast Do you not understand most people don't understand technical jargon. I think you are being thick about this. try and be more sensitive if you want people to get some out of this - it was constructive thank you for putting up the info just go slower.

  • @Drlily2000 That's precisely why I've said that you should first search for help on the basic stuff. In this vid I assume people are acquainted with some technical aspects of video edition because you only upload a vid at the end of the edition process. So I'm not concerned on teaching basic edition stuff (including some technical terms and concepts). Can you understand this?... If you didn't get what I'm talking about search something else that helps you out, ok?? I'm done with you!
