I don't think they can see that it is a joke. You can clearly sense that she is joking, esp. if you watch Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-list. She is funny, intelligent, sarcastic.

I think she plays an irritating character, with that voice, and talking all the time, god help us. If she is that character in reality, poor family and no wonder the dogs ignore her.

To me it's hard to tell if she's joking or serious, mostly cause that's all i see her doing, making arrogant and rude comments, there isn't much contrast.

However, she isn't blatantly horrible... I don't like her, but I don't hate her or think she's a horrible person, I just don't like her... and I can understand why people would hate her with a passion too. :)

That's true but the attitude of "Everyones good but I'm better" kinda ticks people off.

"I don't know how old exactly I'm too famous to keep track of it, I have people for that."

"I feel so bad for taking it from Ceser Millan, but maybe he should've worked a little harder for it." Seriously?

But she made up for it by saying "Jesus had NOTHING to do with this! If it was up to him, Cesar would be up here with his dog."

so I don't like her, but at least she's honest.
