I did not see any performance change due to the exhaust system. I lost about 5 HP on the Dyno withe the new system, but it sounds so much better.

@IdriveC5 I gutted the pup cats and replaced the factory cats with Magnaflow high flow cats. I added a Magnaflow "X" pipe where the factory "H" pipe was. Then I put 14" Magnaflow straight through mufflers where the factory mufflers are and a Magnaflow X muffler where the rear Infiniti muffler was. I used all 2.25" polished stainless steel pipe which is only a few MM larger than the factory pipes.

@IdriveC5 II didn't wan tto lose too much torque, because the car needs all it can get. I guess if I left off the cats and went to a 2.5" system, I might have increased the HP at 6,500 RPM, but the car needs more grunt at 2,500 RPM than it needs HP at 6,500 RPM.

This fully polished system cost me about $800.00 Then I spent another $250 to replace the 4" round resonators with mufflers. The resonance at 1500 RPM was too much for normal driving.
