yeah i did the dxlevel 80 thing it worked,ping got smaller too,and fps big as..globe?:D

@DarkGamerProject you change it in the launch options. check the link in the description.

i cant change it its grey and i use directx9+ graphics.how can i change to 8?i use too high direct x and my fps is really low. ping is pretty good.

If anyone wants motion blur with low graphics (dx80 or autoconfigs), just dl an fps config, save it as 'autoexec.cfg', then enter '-dxlevel 90' in launch options. Make sure to enable motion blur first before starting tf2, by simply editing and messing around in the autoconfig.

@997hulk997 probably has to do with the filters in tf2's replay system. now that i think of it, i should have used fraps instead...

if i get -dxlevel81 can i put the settings on high even if my graphics card is bad? this is my comp Pentium(R) Dual-Core CPU e5200 2.50GHz (RAM) 4.00 GB (Windows Vista) and the graphics card is NVIDIA GeForce 7100 / NVIDIA nForce 630i because i put -dxlevel81 on the set launch options and it lowers a little lag but i cant play on medium or high settings and even on low i still lag can you help me please is my graphics card bad? if not why cant i play on high settings with -dxlevel81?

@21Davible24 have you checked your internet connection? i'm pretty sure your computer meets the minimum requirements, and the lag might be coming from high ping and low connection.

My one doesnt start, the screen turns sideways and the opening credits come on (Valve,Source) but then it just goes bakk to my desktop... and i have DirectX8 do you have any idea what this is

@KiDDoViPeRzz have you checked your pc's specs? crashing on startup might be from running the game on a pc that doesn't meet up to the system requirements.
