Gracias nahuiocelo. Efectivamente en el son jarocho se encierra no solamente lo africano, sino lo español, lo árabe y desde luego la raíz mexicana. Veracruz es tierra de sones, como todo México, pero los jarochos del sur y el centro conservan ese mátiz clásico que le da mayor ímpetu e invita a su ejecución.

yo creo que la música africana ha influenciado a la mayoría de la música del mundo. El son jarocho actualmente se compone de una historia desde sus inicios hasta lo que es hoy, es una forma de expresión identitaria y con un buen toque de sabor del alma, que gracias a ese mestizaje musical ha dado expresión a los veracruzanos principalemnete y a aquellos que los ha cautivado.
