This video is of footage that I shot with a camcorder while driving around Los Angeles and Hollywood the Saturday after the L.A. riots occurred in 1992.
The video shows many of the burned out buildings left in the aftermath of the unrest following the verdict in the case against the police officers charged in the Rodney King beating incident. Some scenes of police and National Guard are included along with shots of L.A. landmarks like Perino's Restaurant, The Famers Market, etc. Everything was shot from the passenger seat while a friend drove around the areas. The soundtrack is by Synthetrix and includes the tracks, "Inside" and "Outside" from the 2008 album, Operation Happiness and "When No One Is Looking" from the 2010 album, Avant Savage.
The video is an interesting historical snapshot from almost 20 years ago.

I still remember L.A. back in the 90's. There was some stores I liked (Mostly Korean) alot BEFORE it was destroyed by these damn looters. Somehow I STILL remember "NOT guilty" verdicts.

I love seeing how L.A. used to look. Well, not the burned out buildings part, but the other stuff. Thanks for sharing!

Yeah, to hell with all those anarchist idiots who murdered and rioted and hurt people on that day. Scumbags every one of them.
