"Allegro risoluto in B flat minor and 2/4 time. A popular virtuoso piece in which the influence of Schumann may be felt. A perpetuum mobile of stormy semiquavers enters on full organ and is continued in the middle section, where it forms the accompaniment to a second theme (first in the pedal, later in the upper voice also). Above a dominant pedalpoint the way is paved for the reprise of the opening. At the end the music is brought to a gripping climax, the turbulent semiquaver figuration continuing unabated to the last bar." (Ben van Oosten)

I was not aware of this interpretation by van Oosten. (Saint-Ouen clearly recoginzable with its tierces on swell). BTW not bad, maybe a tad bit too "metronomic" , lacking expression in the great crescendo up to the end, but not bad... Thanks for posting.
