Academy Award nominated actress Julianne Moore appears in this clip from As The World Turns. Moore played the dual roles of Frannie Hughes and Sabrina Hughes on the drama, for which she won a Daytime Emmy Award in 1988; she played the roles from 1985 to 1988.

Brooklyn native, Marisa Tomei was attending Boston University, when she was cast in the CBS daytime soap opera As the World Turns; she subsequently left school and played the teenager Marcy Thompson on the show from 1983 to 1985. She made her feature film debut in 1984 in The Flamingo Kid, starring Matt Dillon. After leaving As the World Turns, she appeared in Off-Broadway productions like Daughters (1985) before moving to Los Angeles. In 1987, she landed a role as a roommate of Lisa Bonet's character during the first season of the sitcom A Different World, a short-lived spinoff of The Cosby Show.

I don't know the exact date but it would have been sometime in I do believe April or May 1985. This was about two months before Marisa Tomei (and the character she played Marcy) would be exiting ATWT and only a few weeks into Julianne Moore starting in the role of Frannie. (The Sabrina character until December 1986).
