i usually go 10-15KM/h above the speed limit. speed limits are unnecessary for some drivers that can safely drive without hitting things.

Any driver can drive fast. The good drivers know when to drive slow. Always be able to stop in the distance you can see to be clear - all of the examples he mentioned can be summed up in that one rule.

Another point is double white lines around corners, slow down there as the white lines tell you you cant overtake as you can't see round corners... and if you cant see around corners, sods law is that someone is parked/broken down there, or going really slow.
