Venus, Earth's twin gone wrong. ESA's Venus Express mission is providing increasingly interesting data about the closest planet to Earth. It has for instance now mapped the southern part of its hemisphere at infrared wavelengths, the only way to see the surface which is hidden by think clouds. This A & B-Roll explains the essential features of Earth's sister planet which has so dramatically changed in the past to become "an evil twin". It features Hökan Svedhem, Project scientist at ESA, Uli Christensen of the Max Planck Institute for Solar System Research and Dimitri Titov, Science coordinator for the Venus Express mission.

  • I found the use the words, of our sister-planet, "gone terribly wrong" interesting because who are we to say what is going wrong or right? It only seems wrong to US because WE wouldn't be able to live there. Seems to me that everything on Venus is going exactly as it should. Just a thought.

  • Nice we have comments from Russia and not from USA only like in other documentries
