"These Streets are Watching" is a 50 minute video that takes a fresh look at police accountability through the eyes of three communities; Denver, Cincinnati and Berkeley. Independent filmmaker, Jacob Crawford, weaves three cities responses to police brutality into a single tale of community empowerment and direct action. Within an amazing collection of footage that portrays police conduct and misconduct, the film conveys basic legal concepts that can provide practical help to groups and individuals seeking a clearer understanding of their rights when dealing with police. The film is divided into sections that explain our basic rights, tactics for documenting police activity and ideas for further action and organizing.

  • The people that press thumbs down for this video do not want to have our current rights.

  • you know.... i just realised something.. Under the Harrassment issue on youtube's policy this video can be flagged for promoting hatred/violence. so now i'm going to be ''that guy'' and find every cop watching video and go ahead and flag it. If you also hate these stupid no job no life fuckers please do flag with ''promoted hatred and violence'' reason being ''clearly stating police are untrustworthy and should follow them and not allow them to keep us safe''

  • bloobhoun is probably a cop or has a lot of family that are cops so he is protecting over cops because he gets a get out of jail free card. thats how it works when ur in bed with the blue mafia..

  • @Bloodhoun34Returns Nice twist! Maybe we'll just flag you! You're a prick!!

  • This is what happenes when you shoot a relative of a cop while on 911 asking for help. If you go to you tube Erie Parties /Joel Atkin there is the 911 call which is missing 20 to 30 seconds,a video of me telling what I want answers to,and below the video is the link to Face Book which has all the papers supporting my questions and what my son said happened that day. If you see self defence please send to as many people as you can. Stay safe out there. Thank You and God

    Bless!

  • @LostMYmind904 In some states, there is a "stop and ID" statute. If you are in one of those states, then most likely yes - you would be required to give them ID. Verbal ID is satisfactory - just say your name, address, and date of birth. You don't have to provide physical ID such as a license.

If you are not in a stop and ID state, you do not have to provide any ID whatsoever unless you are being arrested, in which case you have to give the same information as above.

  • @Bloodhoun34Returns If you think this is promoting hatred or violence, then you are simply an idiot.

We have rights, and this video promotes the use of those rights. You are free to ignore the information, but this is clearly not harassment.

I hope you enjoy having YouTube laugh at you behind your back.

  • @PotMonster16 Why even offer that much? In order to stop you at all, there has to be reasonable suspicion of a crime. You *might* be violating curfew, but you might not be. They have to have reasonable suspicion that you are breaking the law. Until then, give them nothing.

"I have nothing to say to you. I am invoking my right to remain silent."

  • The poklice work, is to make you suffer and hellp the top 1 %.

That's why cops get wacation when they are hold responcible.

  • @lostmyming904 their.is a curfew for minors (depending where you live time.varies) so yes the.police can stop you and ask for but you dont have to give it to them, state your.first name ONLY and your.date of.birth NEVER give them your Social Security Number if you havent done anything wrong you are free to leave once proving your.over the age of 18

  • I used to support the police in general. In the last 5 years several people, and myself included, were violently attacked by several different departments in our area. It took all of 4 years to resolve the issue and prove our innocents, at a cost of several hundred thousand dollars. In the end there was no reimbursment to us and no disciplinary action was taken against any law enforcement officer by the state nor county. The police are, for the most part, above the law and they know it.
