Retard this arena has to be built by 2014 because that is when the Oilers lease with rexall place ends. Owner Daryl Katz stated that the Oilers will not play in Rexall Place at the end of the lease in 2014. Learn your facts before making a video.

yes 21 000 might sound like a lot for right now but its really not. 20 000 something like that would do the buildings future for much longer. i say if we are going to build it build it right. Montreal Canadiens Detroit Red Wings and a few others i cant think of right now have 20 000+ and it is our turn. it may cost a bit more but we (the city) can make it back. in sure we would sell out every game with 20 000 if it was in downtown. and our rush/oil kings would sell more as well i bet.

edmonton is full of fools. 18 000 whats the point. i say make it 21000 like the bell centre. we will fill it. the arena is not the reason the players don't come its many things. one we don't give them enough money two weather... enough said about that one. where edmonton is. think about that its in the middle of no ware so for the most part longer road trips. i want a new arena very bad but they should not build it as i said if they put 18 000 maybe 2 000 difference or a bit more.
