@HIGHflyer1199, that doesn't really matter, though. It's all up to the bass player and for some it gives a cleaner and smoother tone. However, it is possible that for more punch people would use a pick like Chris Novaselic. It's all a matter of preference, really. For instance, I tend to believe that the finger technique deserves more respect and is must more difficult to pull off successfully.
