How to Breastfeed - Large Breasts Sandwich Latch Video

This is a great latch for women with large breasts/large areolas. This is different than any other latch videos I have found on youtube. My IBCLC showed me a different latch that really helped me out. I had a cracked nipple & was in tremendous pain. After doing this latch no more pain! You want to compress breast by making your hand in the shape of a C. Then you want baby to take a big bite like he is going to eat a sandwich by latching bottom lip on first & then putting top on. Their mouth has to be open very wide. You want to keep the breast compressed the entire time your baby is eating to keep the good latch.

I can't thank you enough for posting this. I was having the hardest time and I tried my hardest to the point my nipples were bleeding. I was so frustrated. I stumbled upon this video while I was looking up information about breastfeeding with large nipples/areolas. 36 seconds of this video helped my daughter and I tremendously. Thank you for this video, me and my OH plan to have a child in the future and i was always worried about breast feeding and my large breasts but you make it look so easy! i was worried i wouldnt be able to do it, but you have laid my mind to rest :)
