The best deleted scene from one of the classics. Do YOU believe in fate?

  • What is the name of the classical song playing? Thanks!

  • That is a great question, and I am having trouble figuring it out. As soon as I find out, I will rereply.

  • The best deleted scene, but I can understand why it was taken out. Still, such an awesome scene! I love this movie. I've seen it way too many times (well, not for me, but a lot, I can't get sick of it). This is one of the best scenes in a movie, even if it wasn't actually in the movie.

  • I don't think you could watch this movie too many times. The best part is there is always something new to discover, something you missed the last....666 times you watched it :)

  • Thought I posted here..oh well. So, why did they delete this scene anyway?

  • They tell you in the intro to this, check it out, its up here. Basically, Oliver didn't think that it really went with the flow of teh movie.

  • Filmed at the City of Hammond, IN City Hall - Court Room 2nd Floor

  • @gooselax27

    the music is

    EDVALD GRIEG

IN THE HALL OF THE MOUNTAIN KING

    look it up

  • This scene was removed because Oliver Stone thought it conflicted with another scene before this one where Mickey & Malory showed remorse over killing a Native Indian. Kinda like they backflipped & become sensationally violent again.

  • @DJTigermis Well I had the 'uncut special edition' and this scene wasn't included in the main film, only as an extra feature. Oh well.

  • @And8But

Actually, I am pretty sure that the first time I watched this awesome movie the court scene was included. I could be wrong though, as it happens to be some years ago by now.

    This movie is brilliant nevertheless.

  • Tarantino script was exactly same as Stone movie- no differences

  • Me too. I watch it when I'm depressed. It's one of those movies I can watch any time, no matter what mood I am in.

I've seen Juliette Lewis live now that she is in a band, and I've got to touch her, and I just keep thinking, "WOW!" Every time I see her play I try to request that she sing "Born Bad".

  • I thought Tarantino's original version of this script was way worse than what the movie ended up being.

  • @iloveannanicole

Yeah, as much as I dislike Stone (don't get me wrong, NBK is a masterpiece...but kind of an accidental one....Stone's pompous misinterpretation of Tarantino's pompous screenplay makes for some quite beyond the intentions of either creative party), I agree with his reasons for keeping this scene out. It messes with the pacing something awful.

My only real complaint is that the alternate ending should have been the real ending.
